SBI Clerk 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must know all the eligibility criteria required for SBI Clerk 2023 for various posts. Eligibility criteria like educational qualification, age limit etc. are mentioned below.

Educational Qualification (as on 31/12/2023) for SBI Clerk Recruitment 2023

(a) He must possess a valid degree in any subject from a recognized University.

(b) Candidates holding Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) Certificate must confirm date of passing IDD. Those who are in their final year/semester of graduation can also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if provisionally selected, they must produce proof of passing the graduation examination.

(c) Matriculated ex-servicemen who have obtained Indian Army Special Education Certificate or related certificate in Navy or Air Force after serving at least 15 years in the Union Armed Forces are also eligible. Post.

• • Widows, Divorced, Women (No Married):  7 years (subject to the maximum age limit of 35 years for General/EWS, 38 years for OBC & 40 years for SC/ST candidates)

Cumulative age relaxation will not be available under the above items or in combination with any other item.

SBI Clerk 2023 Nationality

1. Indian citizenship
2. Matters of Nepal or Bhutan or
3. A Tibetan refugee who came to India with the intention of permanent residence before 1 January 1962 or
4. A Person of Indian Origin (PIO) who has come from Burma, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Vietnam or the East African countries Zaire, Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, Zambia or Malawi with the intention of permanently settling in India.
5. Candidates in categories 2, 3 and 4 must have a certificate of eligibility issued in their favor by the Government of India.

SBI Clerk 2023 Selection Process

SBI Clerk Selection Criteria consists of 2 levels (Preliminary and Main).

• Online Preliminary Exam: Based on the online mains exam requirements certain number of candidates from different categories will be shortlisted by SBI.
• Online Main Examination: Candidates eligible for final selection must score passing marks and above in the main examination to qualify in each category, as well as the overall cut-off in the main examination.
• Final Result: A merit list will be published under the final result declared based on merit list in SBI Clerk Men Exam.
• SBI provides allotment to candidates on the basis of preference given at the time of registration. SBI will thus notify important soon for provisional allotment, exam date and joining date and other formalities.

SBI Clerk 2023 Exam Pattern

SBI Clerk Exam 2023 will be conducted in two stages, Prelims and Mains. The best part of SBI Clerk Exam is that there will be no interview. SBI Clerk Exam is conducted once a year at national level in computer based online mode. Candidates who have cleared SBI Clerk Prelims Exam will be eligible for SBI Clerk Main Exam 2023, followed by Local Language Test. However, one has to clear the SBI Clerk Prelims and Mains exam.

The SBI Clerk Prelims exam paper consists of 100 questions carrying 60 minutes of 1 mark each. Negative marking will be of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

Mains Exam: Online, Objective Type:

This means that the SBI Clerk Main exam is conducted on the computer, where the candidates will answer the questions using a computer interface.
The exam questions are objective type, which means candidates select the correct answer from multiple choice options.

Total Marks: 200:

The maximum score in SBI Clerk Main Exam is 200 marks. This score is based on how well the candidate performs in all sections of the exam.

Duration: 2 Hours 40 Minutes:

Candidates have a total time of 2 hours 40 minutes to complete the entire mains exam.
Within this time limit, they have to answer all the questions in four sections: General English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability and Computer Aptitude and General/Financial Awareness.
Each section has a specific time limit, and candidates must manage their time effectively to complete all the questions within the allotted time.

  1730/7-42600-3270/1-45930-1990/1-47920. The starting salary package of SBI Clerk in a metro city like Mumbai has been increased to Rs.29000/- per month which includes Dearness Allowance (DA) and other allowances.
• Starting Basic Pay is Rs.19900/- (Rs.17900/- plus two advance increments admissible for graduates)
• A candidate will serve an apprenticeship period of 6 months.
• Further, the performance of newly recruited employees will be evaluated before the expiry of the probationary period and those whose performance is not up to expectations may be extended the probationary period.
