1. Union Home Minister Amit Shah approves Rs 1,658 crore restoration and reconstruction plan for Joshimath
Joshimath city of Uttarakhand is facing serious challenges due to landslides and landslides. The high-level Central Committee headed by Union Home Minister Amit Shah has approved a recovery and reconstruction (R&R) scheme worth ₹1,658.17 crore to deal with the aftermath of this natural disaster. The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) aims to implement the Joshimath Restoration Plan within three years by employing the Build-Back-Better (BBB) policy, sustainable initiatives and other practices. 2. Data initiative Amplify 2.0 launched for Indian cities by Ministry of Urban Affairs
India’s Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs has launched an unprecedented initiative to centralize and stream raw data from cities across the country. Launched as the Amplifi 2.0 (Assessment and Monitoring Platform for Livable, Inclusive and Future Ready Urban India) portal, the initiative aims to empower data-driven policy-making, academicians, researchers and the urban development process. To involve stakeholders.
The platform, which has been operational for three weeks, has successfully onboarded 225 urban local bodies (ULBs). Note that currently data of 150 cities is available on this platform. 4.Nagaland is celebrating its 61st Statehood Day

5.RBI imposes monetary penalty on Bank of America, NA, HDFC
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) took a regulatory step on Thursday. Bank of America, N.A. for the violations specified in this regulatory action. And imposed fine on HDFC Bank Ltd. 6.Prime Minister inaugurates 10,000th medicine center at AIIMS Deoghar
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has marked an important milestone in healthcare by inaugurating the 10,000th medical center at AIIMS in Deoghar. The event also marked the launch of an ambitious program which aims to increase the number of public dispensary centers in the country from 10,000 to 25,000. Additionally, the Prime Minister inaugurated the Pradhan Mantri Mahila Kisan Drone Centre, which reflects the holistic vision of healthcare and agricultural prosperity.
The Prime Minister began an interactive session with Ruchi Kumar, the beneficiary and operator of the 10,000th dispensary centre. Ms Kumari shared her inspiration behind setting up the centres, emphasizing the need for affordable medicines in the region. PM Modi appreciated their efforts and pointed out the significant difference in prices. It is worth noting that medicines which are available for Rs 100 in the market are often available for Rs 10 to 50 at this centre.
